Integrated Light Pollution Map helps you find the darkest places near you for the best viewing of the night sky. Includes the ability to save and load your favorite dark sky locations, fully adjust the light pollution map overlay opacity and map type, and a unique "horizon safe radius tool" to avoid light pollution on the distant horizon!

*edit* Not sure happened with the last update, but every time I try to load the cloud layer, the entireapp crashes. 'This app has been extremely helpful! As a photographer, weather as well as light pollution can make or break a great photo! I've found the upgrade to be very worthwhile for my needs, but the app works great without needing to upgrade

Every feature is a paid feature. You can't adjust or modify it at all–its stuck showing light pollution, not opaque enough to see the map below. You can't tell where anything is. There is however, another app called Dark Sky Map. Its fully customizable, and looks great. Its not bogged down by buttons that do nothing. The difference between these apps is so great in fact that it compelled me to come all the way over here and write a review. You should look it up. Dark Sky Map. You're welcome.

Absolutely useless! Can't even zoom into the map when trying to find another location! What is the use of you can't see details of the area you're trying to find?!? And then EVERYTHING had to be paid for! Installed it, tried for 2 minutes and uninstalled it..... To Photographer's Arsenal: first: An app or software program should be intuitive. One should not have to contact the developer to find out how to use it. Second: I tried all the buttons in the app and nothing worked.

Eric, thank you for your comment. A simple courtesy e-mail to us before leaving a rude review, and we could have solved your issue by telling you to tap the buttons on the top of the map to re-enable zooming. Regarding payment for additional features, these are only some extra features that most don't need for the purpose of the app.
What's new
Our first major app update in a long time! Sorry for the delay due to personal health issues and other concerns. This update fixes some major issues many were having with the app not recognizing the app as being genuine, as well as fixing other many bugs and problems.
There will be more updates fixing other minor bugs and issues over the next few weeks. Thank you for your patience and support!
