League of Legends European Championship Spring 2022 is the 7th European League of Legends split under the LEC banner, 10 European teams compete for the LEC title.

Ahead of this season, FC Schalke 04 Esports announced that their LEC slot had been sold to the Swiss Team BDS, ending their 5 years of competing in the LEC. ^[1] Team BDS later revealed their roster, consisting of 3 ex-Karmine Corp and 2 ex-FC Schalke 04 Esports players: Adam, Cinkrof, NUCLEARINT, xMatty and LIMIT.

During the offseason, Astralis signed Dajor and Kobbe to replace MagiFelix and Jeskla, giving Dajor his LEC debut just months after making his competitive debut. Excel Esports stuck with most of their roster from last season, signing Finn as their new toplaner and keeping the other 4 on their roster. Fnatic acquired Razork and Humanoid to replace Bwipo and Nisqy, while G2 Esports rebuilt their roster with BrokenBlade, Flakked and Targamas joining the team. Misfits Gaming promoted Misfits Premier jungler Shlatan, with Neon and Mersa joining as their new botlane. Rogue lost Inspired and Hans Sama to Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid respectively, replacing them are Malrang from DAMWON Gaming and Comp from Team Vitality.

SK Gaming rebuilt their roster, moving Treatz back to support and signing Gilius and Sertuss. Team Vitality revealed a new roster, only keeping Selfmade and Labrov. Alphari, Perkz and Carzzy join them.

- Double Round Robin
- Each team plays 18 matches
- All matches are Bo1
- 1st to 6th place will play the Playoffs
  - 1st to 4th place are seeded into Semifinals
  - 5th and 6th place are seeded into Losers' Round 1
Playoffs - March 25th - April 10th, 2022
- Double Elimination
- All matches are Bo5
- Winner qualifies for Mid-Season Invitational 2022
